I've seen this claim over & over this week, taken from @ProfHeidiLarson's recent WHO talk. Prof Larson, it would be incredibly helpful if you released a statement to clarify. This minimizes the training med students get in micro, immuno & other topics relevant to vaccines.pic.twitter.com/uf8KAq7kos

To add to the discussion, our P1 PharmD students have 3SCH of immunology+1SCH of immunization labs.4SCH. Each SCH is 15 weeks of 50 minutes contact-hours with final exam. Let’s do the maths: 15*4*50=3000 minutes or 50 hours...or 8 half-days. Excluding the ID pharmacotherapy.

Tara, it is very disappointing that @ProfHeidiLarson has not responded to the (many) requests for her to clarify this statement. She needs to let people know that she has never been through medical training, so has no authority to speak on the matter.

looking at her feed, it’s clear she engages no one, which in general I understand. but yes it’s a huge shame.

Let’s remember that no one graduateds from medical school with a license to practice. Graduates must complete 2-6 years of residency. Those in family medicine, Pediatrics, infectious diseases and public health get much more education about vaccines.

Completely agree. I think every vaccine advocate on social media has been seeing this claim over and over. Harm has been done. I know many have asked Prof Larson for “clarification” via social media and email. We need some sort of statement. #Vaccines https://www.self.com/package/vaccines?intcid=inline_amp&_gl=1*89epxy*_ga*YW1wLVlkcmF1MjlZWDRZX0FYYUp0WjBGakF4VnBxdGxoekFZNC1kU2wzZHItbW94cmVzcjE1U0ROa05MX1d4SEZldHU ….pic.twitter.com/HJqQKcRTZ1

Can you clarify the manufacturing process for MMR. How exactly is it made and please post a long term clinical safety study which proves its merits. You’re a doctor, hence an expert on vaccines right? What viral and chemical contaminants have been found in different batches?

Doctors do not manufacture vaccine. Manufacturers do. Here's a summary from the EMA as an overview. For batch details just check the PQR or APR. No need to thank me, you're welcome.https://www.ema.europa.eu/en/medicines/human/EPAR/m-m-rvaxpro …
