as a 'movement.' It anmoys me even more when they say that those who assert their preferences and personal boundaries don't understand pleasurable sex.

Agree that consent is interestingly nuanced. But "This trust is based not on consent, but on a shared commitment to embrace the fact that sexual pleasure and danger often occupy the same space" preserves a robustly binary form of consent, testable by removing the "shared" idea
