I am sure the article was written with good intend, but its text and the image it accompanies are seriously flawed and not helpful in the current atmosphere. The problem with both is what's missing in them: the non-Jewish Polish victims.

The first problem is with the photo: It shows an execution of hostages in October 1939. Those hostages were non-Jewish Poles. The second is the part of the text that mentions Zakrzewo. The 6000-8000 people murdered there in '39 were overwhelmingly non-Jewish as well.
