Beyond that, we leave out traps to poison them after our habit of throwing food out in the streets lures them in. I keep some as pets - their emotional capacity when compared to the way we treat them always strikes me as a cruel ratio.

Thought it was excellent. Their critique & its ethical underpinnings can't be waved away.
