I always had a feeling that, as a communities and countries, we were going backwards, not evolving
Would it be possible to have such debates today?
Would it be possible to see this kind of social civility today?

Admiring Buckley's social "civility" while he preaches systematically disenfranchising his fellow Americans just because of the color of their skin is the kind of civility that does nobody any good.

I was just a child in 1965, but for those who were born in the eighties, when inequality suddenly began to rise again, imagine that in the sixties 1 in 10 didn't have the same opportunities in America, now it must be 9 in 10
