In Milgram's experiment it was not about fear or other harsh circumstances (war, etc). Why most of the people in this profoundly disturbing experiment choose obedience to the authority? I think the answer can be found to those people who did not obey/comply.

And the question is why these people did not obey? It might be due to the fact that they considered other person life equally important to their own life? If this would be the case, the answer is not of psychological or neurological nature, but spiritual&moral.
