I have a very basic pitch for “The Good Place: The Animated Series,” but I’m afraid to post it cause I really want that to happen. I’d be willing to sign a legal release for this idea to become reality.

I also legally waive any financial whatevers for this reboot pitch, so someone can go ahead and put it into development.

My pitch to Netflix for “Family Matters: Even More,” a “Family Matters” reboot: After Judy Winslow retires from porn, she needs to move in with her sister Laura, her brother-in-law, Steve Urkel, and their kids. Carl and Harriet also probably live there.

Time might have passed, but my community of Smithtown still struggles with basic humanity. It’s a pattern that’s been on repeat for generations, and needs to stop.

When my mom died I found this Letter to the Editor among her possessions. She’s calling out John Klein, the Town Supervisor in Smithtown LI, for his racist housing policies. I think it’s from the 1970s. It inspires me to name names, and call out BS. Don’t live afraid.
I hope that NY Dem voters learn the difference between grandstanding corporate Democrats and progressive grassroots backed candidates.

Many labor union leaders are here and they’re angry. Jimmy Mahoney, Iron Workers union general VP, says they “were team @GovKathyHochul” and helped her get elected “when the phone rang,” & she needed more money. “This is not good for organized labor,” he says.

Slightly concerned that some targeting advertisement algorithms got the results of my blood test before me… and that the results won’t be ideal. Or maybe I’m just anxious about getting the results of said blood test. No way to know. None at all.

I am criticized in this piece - alongside other “left-wing commentators” - as someone “whose ideology is organized around preventing thought.” Because, obviously, everything has to be presented as part of leftwing cancel culture. What else could possibly be going on.

“Joshua remembers her saying that many women miscarry in the first 12 weeks of pregnancy, and they didn't want to be liable for an investigation.”

In case you missed it: This article about a Louisiana woman who was denied miscarriage care reveals the kind of abortion ban consequences we can expect to see in all anti-choice states. It's an incredibly important read. npr.org/sections/healt

Former public defender here who witnessed the very moment a person was sent to Rikers 1000s of times👋🏽 This statement is patently untrue. And the reality is saying everyone is violent is just a tactic used to excuse the human rights violations occurring every day on Rikers.
Quote Tweet
“No one is going to Rikers because they stole an iPhone, in a store somewhere, you’re going because you are a violent offender. And that is why you’re there.” @NYCMayor continues to question whether Rikers should close -- but he has little wiggle room: thecity.nyc/2022/12/27/235

This is a really good thread explaining why the problem with Times political coverage starts at the top
Quote Tweet
Ah. But the NY Times editors and execs hired Maggie Haberman BECAUSE she is friendly to Trumpworld. Probably Peter Baker, too. The reason has to do with the business of political news. Here’s the story: in thread below. /1 twitter.com/balupuppy/stat…
