I have many great memories of E3. Like promoting Bulletstorm or earlier, when I saw MGS 2 live at E3 2000 and my mind was absolutely blown. Many such moments. Kind of sad to see E3 die.

The ESA announced today that this year's E3 has been canceled. The event was supposed to be held from June 13-16 at the LA Convention Center and would have been the first in-person E3 event since 2019. For more info: bit.ly/3TWA2ho

After weeks with #Destiny2Lightfall -- got to Pinnacle cap, raided, went solo Flawless for the SMG, did all the seasonal stuff, etc. Verdict: πŸ‘ Strand is fun and maybe the most innovative gameplay sandbox in shooters in ages? πŸ‘Ž Story-telling is embarrassing, even for Destiny.

No video release today. We have something prepared but this isn't the time given what just happened Rest in peace Lance Reddick. The likes of your greatness will always be remembered, even as we can only hold a candle to your greatness. We are less without you. We will miss you

Russians leaked the largest archive with materials on the game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, which was stolen by a hacker and given to representatives of the Russian fan community. They began to blackmail the developers and demanded to add Russian voice-over, as well as to apologize to the… Show more

Today was fun. Being faced with making a choice of scrubbing all of my late husband’s lifetime of content from the internet. Apparently people think it’s okay to use his library to train voice AIs to promote their social commentary and political views. 🫀

Side note: I spent more time at the final boss (solo Legend) than in the whole rest of the campaign. The difficulty was not the issue (although I disagree with some design like the lack of proper telegraphing), but Bungo's spaghetti code was (like janky physics).

Finished #Destiny2Lightfall campaign. Combat scenarios were good. Strand feels random, I don't get its core fantasy. World, story, characters, dialogue -- in one word: infantile. In two words: infantile, cringe. As bad as Curse of Osiris. Graphics: PS3, a big step back from WQ.

For sure, prevgen consoles are holding #Destiny2 back but Neomuna, the new big city, is something we've seen on Nokia ten years ago. The generic opening mission - once again aboard a generic Cabal ship - ain't helping. Fingers crossed things will pick up soon. #Destiny2Lightfall

To free up some space on my games HDD, I 've finally played the DLCs. Two Colonels is 2h, almost a walking sim, but touching story and incredible atmosphere. Sam's Story is much bigger, semi-open world 6-8h AAA game. No need for any "previously on..." with it. Enjoyed both a lot!

A bit of a clusterfuck, really. Mads Mikkelsen steps in for Depp and plays a low effort Mads Mikkelsen. Tina disappears for the whole movie, and Newt is overshadowed by Jude Law's Dumbledore. It's basically his movie now, and that feels a bit weird. Mixed feelings. End of 🧡12/12

The second one feels like a filler episode. Things happen and then you don't remember any of it having any meaning. The series struggles to find a new direction, fixing issues that weren't issues and ignoring the leads problem. I still enjoyed it because Depp was brilliant. 11/12

I also watched the Fantastic Beasts trilogy, and the first one kind of shocked me. Suddenly, magically, Yates knows how to direct. The flow is great, the movie is fun. The problem? Leads are miscast. Sorry. Good people. But miscast. All side characters overshadow them. 10/12

To me, first three #HarryPotter movies are great, and bits of the last one. The rest is uneven at best. Lame romances, Voldemort less interesting than I hoped, and JKR mass murdering characters left and right b/c that's the only way she can do the cost of the victories. 9/12

Grande finale. Bad pacing, Yates still cannot direct emotions (except the "Always" moment) and weak send off to the characters -- but the horcrux was a good plot device and this film was better than the previous three. 8/12

So. Bad. Prominent characters that had almost entire movies dedicated to them die offscreen, and the plot holes grow to the size of stars. As always, some good moments, but overall it blows my mind that the series got this low. 7/12

The more Voldemort the more boring the movies but the biggest sin of the series and especially this movie is how unbelievable, empty, flat, shallow and emotionless all the romances are. Ron and Hermione? LMAO. Harry and Ginny? Better, but still meh. 6/12

I watched it like three days ago and trying to remember what it's about I'm shooting blanks just like its script writers. I remember that the Order of Phoenix was apparently so hermetic they barely had any meaningful presence in the movie, though. 5/12

Here the descent into darkness, boredom and incoherence begins. Not sure if this is the fault of the original book (never read them) or the script or the direction, but it's just a boring, empty episode except for one fun twist. But pre-Twilight Pattinson was a treat. 4/12

A new, darker direction with great twists. Maybe my favorite? Despite Radcliffe always looking way too old from now on, elements of Europeanized Burton-like grotesque, a bootleg Dumbledore that can't hold a candle to Richard Harris and inky cinematography. 3/12

A lot of folks asked in the last 24, "What did you do on Gears of War?" A few highlights: 1) I wrote & co-directed Gears of War 2, wrote all of the in-game collectibles, the initial teaser trailer, consulted on the TV ads & marketing campaign, and even wrote the manual... (1/4)

Everyone, an announcement. We've made the tough decision of delaying Sherlock Holmes The Awakened by a few weeks. We've made a video that explains why the delay, how we are getting ready for the release, and shows new gameplay footage.
