Nope. They asked for coffee and tea. "Great, okay, I'll be right back" I said, scuttling off. Obviously, I panicked. Went to the kitchen thinking, okay I know how to make tea. So I did that. But the coffee pot had powder in it, and I had absolutely no idea what to do with it.

I pullet out slack on my phone and wrote a frantic message to my team. A guy from the ads team came to the kitchen and we had some banter, but I didn't want to ask him in front of his team and look like an idiot. Not the ads team.

So then I abandoned the tea and run up the stairs to the canteen. They'll know what to do. "Can I please have a tea and a...regular coffee?" "What's a regular coffee?" "Erm, What do most people drink?" "Some people like latte or cappuccino (etc etc)?" "Crap. Latte please."

I went back to the room with a black tea no sugar (obviously I didn't ask beforehand) and a latte hoping for the best. Thankfully they seemed satisfied enough, and I proceeded to plugin my laptop to start the meeting. Front and center for all to see:pic.twitter.com/UnMiuEiwqh

All in all I learnt a powerful lesson yesterday: never be polite and always just go to the Seahorse.
