Calling it "Pidgin English" furthers the assumption that it's a bastardized form of English, whereas "Naija Pidgin" or "Nigerian Pidgin" -- the official name -- better captures its dynamism and character. It was, after all, originally developed from the contact with Portuguese.

The Name of Jesus has within it the fullness of the Godhead. It has within it all of the wealth of eternity. It has within it all of the authority and power over all of the powers of darkness. And that Name belongs to the believer. All that God is and has is in the name of Jesus.

I have agonised over this video clip all day. This is so sexist and philistine display of phallic heroism, a marketplace showcase of the primitivism for which Northern Nigeria remains stuck in the past.
