    When government websites crumble due to traffic I always think it's because interns built the site and hosting was left up to a bunch of stodgy old IT guys running it on a server in the tech closet. Who could have known thousands of people would want to schedule vaccinations?

    Just got an email that my bank is being closed. Loved its impeccable UI, mobile app, no-fees policy, and large ATM network. So, what's everyone using nowadays that ticks all those boxes? (Besides the usual big banks.)

    No matter your political stance, today's kids need to have a strong education in these areas so that they know how to build a healthy diet of news and to easily spot the fake news, "alternative facts", and conspiracy theories that are fueling our country's divide.

    When I was growing up, I took the civics and news literacy education I received for granted. Today, I realize the value. I can tell which news sources are reputable and have low bias vs. those that are garbage and/or have a heavy bias.

    The king of privacy theft, , is running ads attacking , the leader in privacy protection. All because Apple is shifting to an opt-in system from an opt-out system for users to allow data sharing with advertisers. FB must fear folks won’t opt in. I wonder why.
