Interesting how much UK govt has raised its estimates for gas price in 2040. Range has shifted considerably higher in just a year since last projections (solid lines are new projections, dotted old ones. The three colours are high, central, low scenarios)

You've heard how global emissions need to be cut 45% by 2030 to stay below 1.5C. But what does that mean for coal, oil & gas? In new analysis for I show why coal use needs to fall *much* faster over the next 10 years, by around 70-80% 1/

"Oops, he did it again." How Boris Johnson has once again switched the discourse from what to do about to a tawdry political row. And why the success or failure of now lies in Johnson's hands.

Fact check: Boris Johnson says UK cut greenhouse gas emissions 42% since 2010. He scrambled the numbers. Emissions fell around 40% between 1990 and last year. Not since 2010.
