I’m an Astros fan. To understand the scope of the Astros cheating & the players involved, I logged every trashcan bang from every Astros 2017 home game w/ video available. Over 8,200 pitches watched and over 1,100 trashcan bangs found. The results are at http://signstealingscandal.com .

great work, I wonder if there's anyway we could see how successful the bangs were, like maybe 'hits off bangs' this would give an insight into what effect the process had on the Astros' performance.

He lists the outcome of the pitch next to each individual one but yes, an aggregation would be really cool.

Question, regarding the plan behind the bangs, was it in a way so that a “no bang” was still a tip on the pitch? “No bang...must be a fastball...”

Have you correlated bang v. result per bang? It would be interesting to see what happened each time there was a bang, including exit velocity even if contact resulted in an out.
