This is a horrible take. DC did a great job keeping people safe. It could have easily been hundreds of Nazis, but people would rightfully be going OFF on DC right now if they had been unprepared & one or more people had died bc of it.

Preparedness is one thing, accomodating them is another. Giving them their own private car on Metro while residents can't get to work strikes many as...odd.

I encourage you to go back and look at photos to see which direction the police were mostly facing on Sunday, with this question in mind: when an officer is facing you, are you usually the one being protected or confronted?
