With millions of people living in large cities there are a certain number of crazy people that just slip through every crack imaginable and the fact our current mental health care systems are in shambles in nearly every state in the USA isn't making it one bit better.

California has some of the toughest gun laws in the country..and clearly that’s not working. We must do better. We must address mental health and punishment also. Evil appears and screw everyone that politicizes these horrific events. Prayers for the families. I know their pain.

Stop saying the shooters name and showing his face. Just stop. It DOES NOT add to your story. You can still report race and age...fine...but stop saying name and showing the face...it encourages others. Start uplifting the families of those now dealing with this horrific loss.

I’d like to about NY as well. Saw many stories about gov workers getting arrested for fraud. Also all the posts of the FB boards of people that had their identities stolen for unemployment in the beginning.
