You're conveniently overlooking the fact that the modest referendum turn out makes that 52% figure only about 37% of the available votes

The turnout is what it is....but let's vote again....with same turnout, result reversed, will you say that is not a legitamate result?

I'd say that in order to make a big constitutional change (e.g. leaving the EU you need a convincing mandate. Say 2/3 majority).

We had a referendum....we knew what it was for, those who didn't vote can't complain. We now need to unite and make it a success for us all

You're ignoring the point about the need for a proper mandate not being met. And can you explain how 'uniting' will make it a 'success'?

What are the benefits of brexit? I can't think of any.

We could all 'unite' behind the idea of shredding all of our clothes… but we couldn't really make a success of a jumble sale afterwards.
