      I'd say that in order to make a big constitutional change (e.g. leaving the EU you need a convincing mandate. Say 2/3 majority).

      We could all 'unite' behind the idea of shredding all of our clothes… but we couldn't really make a success of a jumble sale afterwards.

      I honestly doubt that it will go ahead at all. That's why I don't think it is necessary or wise to 'unite' behind it. Great risk, no reward.

      Freedom of movement scares me if I am honest especially in world we live in, we can have trade deals with USA, Australia....there is reward

          Freedom of movement has been misrepresented. Doesn't mean anyone can live anywhere. Only applies to EU people, & if they can support self.
