You're conveniently overlooking the fact that the modest referendum turn out makes that 52% figure only about 37% of the available votes
The turnout is what it is....but let's vote again....with same turnout, result reversed, will you say that is not a legitamate result?

I'd say that in order to make a big constitutional change (e.g. leaving the EU you need a convincing mandate. Say 2/3 majority).

This is indeed the system to change the constitution of many clubs, political parties etc. So, in answer to yr question the reverse is legit
