PM repeatedly saying he doesn't want to cancel Christmas because it wouldn't be fair on those who have already made plans, but how many have in reality? Most people I know are still discussing with family to work out the most sensible course, even if they have a vague idea.
There has to be responsibility on us too....not just Government. People who are saying 'make things stricter' are probably same people not sticking to guidelines...We have to be sensible and do a much smaller Christmas than usual for one year

I’ve complied with rules throughout, to the letter, and think it’s reckless and negligent of Governments to proceed with current plans.

Fair enough and I am sure you have but if the Government said no household mixing, how many would take notice? Surely it is up to us as individuals to take some responsibility? I hope you have a great Christmas btw
