I was trying to make the point that both sides clearly stated there wouldn't be one, I never said we are not now also preparing for one... The EU will not renegotiate withdrawal agreement though, or so they say

I accept it is we who voted to leave, but I don't accept that finding a solution to Backstop is only a UK problem..They have put something in agreement which was agreed by our then PM but has been rejected by Parliament and everybody else and their dog

They are saying, they are just waiting for a solution, I am suggesting it is a two way thing, or else hard border it is, which nobody claims they want. I just believe that both sides should be trying to find alternatives through discussion, it is the truth
