So, after much searching, it would appear that I’m after a Croft.
Somewhere very, very remote. Far away from the sound of human beings. Just animals, nature and water.
I also want a permanent residence, not a holiday place.

Crudie croft was for sale in Aberdeenshire, not sure if still is but it was the home of an ex of mine and her family.... Very remote, beautiful place near the small town of Turriff, not far from Banff.... Idyllic
