The good news is that I no longer have to waste time arguing with Leavers. Bad news is it’s going to cause me & my family considerable disruption to move to the EU. But I flatly refuse to support a weak, xenophobic, less free and undemocratic UK with my taxes so have to go.
I am only trying to make a point that I don't think people are racist/xenophobic in the UK (overall) and that UKIP only ever managed 1 seat in Parliament and BNP never got close....

I take your point, but I wonder if the lack of MPs in Parliament is also due to the system, which besides denying MPs to parties with a small percentage of votes, also puts people off voting for them as a 'wasted vote'. I wonder what would happen if the UK went full PR.

Fair enough. Racism / xenophobia are strong words, but I would say that there is substantial intolerance of ‘foreigners’ in the UK, whipped up by the right wing press.
