The problem with allowing rich feminists to frame marriage as some patriarchal conspiracy is that they're doing away with an institution (particularly at the lower ends of the socioeconomic spectrum) that confers vastly more material benefits to women than men.

In terms of transfer of wealth and income, men especially at the bottom can’t compete with transfer payments & social welfare schemes by compulsory taxation or child support payments aimed primarily at alleviating the lot of single mothers funded. See
