Dems are doing better today in FL. But +4-6 polls are not going to happen. They will need to win NPAs/indies. No way around it. Btw, undecided vote in Pinellas County is through the roof. I can't stress enough: Hillsborough is NOT the bellwether down here anymore. Pinellas is.

Just FYI, about 1 in 5 voters last night in Pinellas County told us they are still undecided. It was about 16% in 2016. These are voters who voted for Obama twice slightly, then swung hard to Trump. These are the voters to watch. Not Hillsborough, which has trended blue 4 years.

Let me guess - they don't know what DeSantis stands for because he's been so terrible at pushing a message?

Lol! I hate to say it, but these people overwhelmingly oppose the Gillum platform. It's astonishing that this is the race.

If they pay attention to the news, hopefully the economic numbers help sway them. Otherwise JFC have Rs dropped the ball on this gov race, PRAYING Scott pulls this out. I don't understand why Nelson would be sent back to DC AGAIN.

it is Nelson who needs to pull this out, Democrats are just not voting the way they did in 2016 and they still lost then.

True, but I think D turnout in 2016 was likely depressed as they believed they had it in the bag. NOW they are fueled by rage and hatred and likely to turnout in presidential election #s, but I hope to be VERY wrong. We NEED that pick up.

Just FYI, indies didn't break hard in Florida until Sunday night. Not kidding. A big part of why we were more accurate is because our methodology doesn't let up. It's basically what the media has abandoned exit polls for, on a smaller scale.

was Florida 50 50 and then the panhandle put Trump over the top? I recall at 9pm Trump was down 50k then in a matter of minutes in the lead

I remember when that dummy Frank luntz was calling the presidency for Clinton based on the FL pre panhandle results
