So I want to add some context for this. A recent Trumper I talked with told me she was upset with how the media does its most to "rile up" minorities against the President and against people like her, who wish them no harm. There are two things I would point out about this.https://twitter.com/EvansRyan202/status/1056893466192547847 …
It's ridiculous to argue that it's as easy to publicly voice ones support for a Trumpist platform as it is to voice ones liberal views, it's simply not true but I suppose it's meaningless to debate anecdote.

Depends on many things. I live in the rural deep red. I personally know an elem. school teacher who waxes eloquent for the Trump cause in front of her fourth graders. On the other hand, even the janitors at Oberlin are smart to keep any kind thoughts for Trump to themselves.

Any any case, your argument is built on a cruddy premise. The agency stripping narrative about minorities goes back before the Great Awokening by several years. Its mirror, which strips agency from rural and wcw, goes back several decades.
