If you live in America in 2018, unless you're in some Nordic ethnic enclave in Minnesota, your identity as "White" defines you far more than your identity as Polish/Irish/German etc

Anyway I'm not arguing that white ethnonationlism is politically sound or moral but to argue that it's null due to the circumstances of the American founding is just lazy.

I mean you could argue that such a thing as pan Western white nationalism is incoherent but American white nationalism is pretty coherent, imo. Probably more of a force for political mobilization than American civic nationalism.
