There's an interesting tension between leftism's invariably bureaucratic tilt (due to the class its proponents belong to) and the left wing critique of SCOTUS as fatally flawed due to its oligarchic (really bureaucratic) nature
It's odd to me that leftists aren't able to acknowledge that their formulation of the common good requires a top down elite driven implementation

This is one way to understand their almost desperate support for mass immigration. Unable to face that their politics are not truly favored by the grassroots they have a desperate need to make it so by aligning themselves with the tribal right wing impulses of outsiders
