A lot of women these days talking about the "backpack" they carry (they don't go out alone at night, hold their keys as a weapon, etc). Strikes me as so deranged to be working themselves into a rage about taking basic precautions that women have taken since time immemorial

2/ *audience members volunteer answers* "Now, men, what do YOU do to avoid sexual violence?" Smirky gym rat who was in some of my classes pipes up: "Put the TOILET SEAT down!" 5 minutes of nonstop laughter from the 18-22 y/os. Poor speaker was almost laughed out of the room.
