clean in the sense of not dirty, germ-filled is prolly good for health reasons. just tidy is not important, i think, unless the room is so messy as to be unsafe. the problem, imho, is pressuring people to do things against their nature that would cause them to suffer...

I haven't really read any advice from him where he is advising people to put themselves in danger, overall it just seems like sensible things that promote the cultivation of good habits in people who generally cultivate none.
