?? I think you may have misinterpreted the thread. If anything, I've been one of the more outspoken proponents of the right of Islamists to participate and even govern in a democratic context. When I use "Islamist," I only mean, well, Islamist. It's certainly not an epithet 1/

yes. I tweeted that. I don't see how that lends itself to a negative interpretation. It just might be that in normal discourse, "Islamist" is seen as an epithet. That's never the way I've used it. Here I'm talking about how the Brotherhood is attacked and repressed
