        Castro was a dictator, but this is hyperbole at its finest. There was no mass murder in Cuba, and Castro remains popular with cubans

        There is hyperbole on both sides but I don't think noting that Castro was a totalitarian dictator is incorrect.

        Castro wasn't Stalin - I get that. Many South American leaders were also bad. This doesn't make Castro a good guy.
