    Update: our client was able to get the care she needed. It's a relief, but no one should have to go through what she did, and we should not have had to go to court to vindicate her rights.

    It is outrageous that the prison has denied our client access to abortion. It's blatantly unconstitutional and cruel.

    📌 We sued Georgia over their Jim Crow era attempt to suppress the votes of Black voters and voters of color. By limiting access to absentee ballots and early voting, lawmakers are clearly targeting communities of color, a growing part of the state’s electorate.
