Since 2005, at least 18 people have died after being Tased by police in CT. Twelve were Black or Latino. http://www.acluct.org/updates/tasers

Tasers can be lethal. If police are going to use them, they should only do so justly, and with transparency & accountability to the public.

While this report raises many questions, one thing is clear: Connecticut needs better transparency, training, and accountability for police.
