As originally written, this bill protected privacy rights by requiring police to get a warrant before using drones for surveillance.

As originally written, this bill also (appropriately) prohibited police from weaponizing drones.

Yesterday, lawmakers changed the bill to allow police to add lethal & non-lethal weapons to drones. CT would be the only state to allow this
