Can you confirm the carve-outs in your follow ups? As is looks like anyone with a crime that put them on the SOR will not benefit from this "clean slate" bill.
It is promising news that Clean Slate, S.B. 1019, has passed out of committee, and we're still assessing the language to see what, if anything, has changed in the bill. Watch this space for more later today.

Yes, that's correct, and it's not new in this version. We believe people convicted of all felonies, including ones excluded by this bill, should be eligible for Clean Slate, but we support this bill as a step toward that goal.
