I watched both Anderson & Brian testify. They were awesome! Employment barriers are high-and not only do they prevent people from living up to their potential, they leave people vulnerable to unethical treatment by those who do hire.
In CT, it’s already against the law for the State, when it does its own hiring, to deny someone a job just because of their criminal history. Instead, the state-employer has to look at the whole person.
