We’re very ready to turn the page on 2020. But we must never forget the ways this year re-exposed the many inequities in CT and the US. We must keep fighting racism and work for equity. Daily. Always. These are some moments we'll never forget, that fuels us to keep fighting.

We can't forget that Black voters delivered progress nationwide and in CT. We must remember that on a short timeframe, with limited resources and a pandemic raging, absentee voting for all went smoothly in CT, and voters turned out in record numbers.

We will always remember the biggest civil rights protest in history, led by Black youth. People across all parts of Connecticut were calling for our state to value Black lives, to end police killing and hurting Black people, and to fund our futures, not policing.
