Gov. Ned Lamont issued executive order Wednesday allowing CT voters to vote by absentee ballot in the Aug. 11 primary elections due to COVID-19 concerns. Secretary of the State Denise Merrill praisedthe move, and urged legislature revise state law for the general election.
