None of the facilities are healthy. Osborn's water tastes like backed up sewage most days! The system is overpopulated as they don't have the resources to properly maintain the buildings or adequately staff them. The only answer is to significantly increase decarceration.
Northern isn't a healthy place. It's a supermax built for cruelty and punishment. Yet that's where the CT DOC is sending people who are sick from COVID-19. New from @theappeal & @elizabethweill.

Stop! Totally false. It was built to keep staff and other inmates safe from extremely violent and assaultive inmates. There are inmates that just can not function in society or in prison. If you were truly concerned about all inmates you wouldn’t have a problem with northern.

Emily’s murderer who’s deemed so fuckingggg dangerous and depraved was there at Northern for several months on a 2.5 million $ bond...a little foot stomping by ACLU on it not being good enough for him and out he went to what’s a more acceptable prison to the ACLU CT
