Until the State of Connecticut decides to protect incarcerated people from COVID-19 by urgently, safely releasing them, more people will die in Connecticut prisons and jails, more DOC workers will get sick, and families will be left grieving entirely preventable deaths.

The courts sentenced them to incarceration due to their CRIMES just as law abiding citizens have to deal with covid19. The inmate who died could have been released but didn’t have suitable housing to go to, why didn’t his family or the ACLU take him???
