.@GovNedLamont was just asked directly whether he plans to release incarcerated people at risk of COVID-19. His response was wholly inadequate. Incarcerated people are sitting ducks in this pandemic. They can't protect themselves in prisons and jails.
Prevention is possible if @GovNedLamont acts now. He needs to issue a plan to thoughtfully release people who are incarcerated, limit new prison and jail admissions, and reduce the risk for any people who remain incarcerated.
