Confining people in close quarters increases risk of infection, but thousands of CT residents are needlessly incarcerated, including those who are accused of a crime and unable to afford bail, and those who are elderly & infirm. We will be closely monitoring the state's response.
The DOC & Gov. Lamont also need to release their plan on how they are going to keep the current inmate population safe from this virus. No one has mentioned anything about this issue.
