Millennials (30-35yo) grew up in a period of economic boom, but also when pretty much outright bigotry was allowed. Clinton's super predators, Bush's Jesus Camp America etc Their bug bear is identity in politics, sealing away the ghosts of bigotry from the past

But I think this gives us the key to what the fault line between millennials and zoomers will be, the same way the economy was between boomers and millennials: The importance of identity in politics To understand, we must look at the time periods both groups grew up
