I agree, but Trump should've promoted the plan much earlier, like after the George Floyd riots, and should've shut down any Republican who said the Platinium Plan was unnecessary & identity politics (IE: Candace Owens), but he cared too much about appealing to his existing base

That had more to do with him trusting the wrong people on his black advisory board, he should have listened to and when they were there with sage advise instead of the same old talking heads.
Yes. I learned about then (televised talk). I just do not understand how anything changes for the better with the same perpetual perspectives. 😑

You're absolutely right, Trump's problem in general, then & now, is that he always listens to conservative influencers & pundits, over his advisors. When it comes to the black community specifically, he listened to CO & co over them, because they're a big part of his beloved base
