WhatsApp is suing spyware firm NSO Group, claiming NSO illegally used WhatsApp servers to hack into 1,400 of its users' phones.
At least 100 victims of the hack are reportedly journalists, activists, and lawyers.

We call on NSO to acknowledge its human rights impact, take steps to remedy past harms, and stop selling its surveillance tech to gov’ts that will use them to target activists and other innocent people.
