Hey all! I’m leaving FOE. It’s been really great but it’s time for a change! To begin with I’ll be working on my rewilding project, and maybe doing a little freelance investigation. Please follow and as I’m not sure what I’ll do with this account! :)

Why is finding land a task you ask? Well, each bit needs to be in the right general location, be free from restrictions which would stop rewilding or other legal complications, then it needs to be checked out, decisions made and then we need to actually try and buy it! :)

In the last weeks we’ve been scoping land and keeping our eyes open for suitable sites. Right now we have no paid staff and almost no overheads, so all support will go straight to helping acquire new land. Thanks!

Guys, I need to make a lot of money really quickly. Seems the best way is to get a government contract and fulfil it really badly on the cheap. I hear this climate thing is big. I reckon I could totally fuck up some kind of personal carbon advice APP for £20 million.

We want to show that rewilding is for everyone. Wilding big estates is great, but it's not the whole story. That's why Somerset Wildlands is using a distributed process to create 'wild stepping stones' in our area. Read more and support us here!

TBF I don't know a single person who actually believed it at the time. Perhaps for some it was convenient to believe it.

Lying to Parliament was once thought to be among the most serious offences any Member could commit. That's why the *allegation* of lying was treated with such severity. Now that the sanction against lying has collapsed, punishing the allegation simply protects the offender.

If I were in charge I would have sorted out the Northern Ireland Protocol dispute before hosting the G7.

Sefcovic says the UK led by Frost agreed the NI Protocol was “the best solution” and “the only way” to protect the GFA (bad news for DUP). But he says the Protocol cannot be undone and its consequences, now playing out, were discussed with the UK in Brexit negotiations.

BREAKIING: The High Court has ruled Michael Gove broke the law in awarding a contract to his associates at Public First. The Court ruled a reasonable observer would think there was a real risk Public First won the contract because of favouritism.

I have just discovered Orbis (), a free resource that estimates how long a journey might have taken in the Roman Empire. You can choose season, modes of transportation, priority (speed, economy etc); it also estimates costs & difficulty. I am SPEECHLESS.

What we know so far: KGB operatives boarded the plane in Athens this morning together with Roman Protasevich (he noticed dodgy-looking ppl taking pics of him at the gate). Then when the plane has entered Belarus airspace KGB officers initiated a fight with the Ryanair crew (1/2)

Intercepting a civilian airliner to detain a journalist is appalling, dangerous, and illegal. It imperils the freedoms of the air and freedom of speech. The Belarus government must face serious consequences.

So £252m of our money went to a small “family office”. which operates through a tax haven in Mauritius The £252m was used to pay for PPE that was three times the market rate, and what they made turned out to be faulty. Oh, and Liz Truss knew them. Well done Good Law Project.

Cheerleaders of FTAs at any cost are currently eulogising Australia as a cornucopia of world-beating animal welfare, mindful of it’s importance to the UK public. It’s just...not true.

The hat-trick of Labour electoral strategy: 1. Complain politics isn’t what it should be. 2. Insult the voters you need but don’t have. 3. Make sure you insult them in the newspaper they all read.
