Perhaps @GeraldoRivera, what we are looking at is not an epidemic of allegations (are allegations a disease?) but rather the belated uncovering of a long-running epidemic of sexual misconduct by powerful men?

Maybe, just maybe the fact that a man is cordial to his peers and their family members has little to no bearing on how he treats women whose attention he feels entitled to.

Is it possible that men whose interactions with women can be characterized by unwanted advances, suggestive statements in inappropriate settings or other consent violations might be rightly deemed predatory?

Perhaps we might acknowledge that victims do not feel safe challenging these powerful and influential men and that your calls to report "in a timely fashion--maybe five years" just makes people wonder what happened six years ago?

Might it be the case
@GeraldoRivera that a generation of powerful men in what you call a "flirty business" are just finally experiencing a reckoning for their roles in an industry in which involuntary objectification of the women in it has been standard?Show this thread -
Or we just gonna go with "These women are too sensitive these days?" Yeah. Now that I think about it, that DOES let men off the hook way better.

When Trump talked about grabbing women, he wasn't admitting to a crime. He was reveling in an widely acceptable perk of being a powerful man. Having your way with women.

Trumps chilling "I don't wait... I just kiss them" was him speaking on behalf of all of these men. On behalf of every man who believes one can earn unfettered access to women through success.

Men should be watching this massive "epidemic" of sexual misconduct revelations and having a Usual Suspects moment where everything women have been saying their whole lives suddenly clicks into place and we realize that we are Keyser Soze.
