All you need to know is that there have been wholly valid bases on which to impeach the President that have nothing to do with the Mueller Report, but we're gonna pretend like the report is the key to everything. We. Aren't. Going. To. Do. Shit.

Every news network has continued to allow a network of itinerant liars to continually excuse and misinform the public about the long list of crimes committed by the President. Because you know. He's in the White house so you have to treat him right,

The POTUS declared journalists Enemies of the State, but Sarah Sanders is on a real network somewhere every week making things up as she goes along And we treat it like it's normal. Like it's not an absurd crisis of legitimacy and information

The media continues to treat Trump like a legitimate leader. Even as he incites violence toward them. Even as he undermines their own legitimacy from the pulpit of the White House They still play the game.

If something happens to Rep Omar, nothing changes. There is a flurry of thinkpieces and people stumbling over themselves to ask "How did this happen?" But nobody will say "We let it."

If something happens to Rep Omar, it won't be the straw that breaks the camels' back. It'll just be yet another straw.
