Why do you treat this as though there is any other option? He lost the election. End of story. He will not be in office after Jan. 20. Joe Biden will be president. Trump can walk out on his own or be dragged out by force. Either way, he's leaving. He has no say in the matter.

A scary bit of the US electoral system is that the Electoral College is more of a guideline for Electors. A very possible outcome is Electors choose to give their votes to Trump anyway. Some states have penalties for this, but not all.
