That the government has the power to seize your private property over failure to pay taxes is an absolute travesty.
You can pay off your mortgage and you're still effectively renting your house from the government.

Note to computing teachers. If I needed to convert a table of 20+ items to binary, I’d probably write a small bit of code to do it. That code is a more useful computing exercise. Thinking in code and problem solving hugely beats rote character code conversion.
